Synergetics is a UN award winning company commended for their work in sustainable engineering initiatives in the built environment.

In 2013 I began an internship during semester breaks at Synergetics Environmental Engineering located in Melbourne, where I was responsible for producing the graphic design and architectural outputs of team projects working alongside engineers and other built environment professionals.

During the second half of the internship I was appointed to the role of Student Architect and I lead the completion of two collaborative design projects.

Being the only ‘designer’ on the team posed challenges when working with people with completely different skills and priorities and I saw a technical side of design which I had not been exposed to until this point.
