CALLAO POLIDEPORTIVO
Lima, Peru
PanAmerican + ParaPan Games
The Callao Polideportivo was a 6 month D&B stadium project that intended to unify the low socio-economic and complicated by its geographic position on a seismic zone.
The multi-sports complex is currently used for community and tournament use, with design providing multiple layout options for the field of play.
I was fortunate enough to be sent to Peru from London as the company representative, conversing and coordinating the roof structure and signage in two languages
Although this project was comparatively low-budget, it remains a personal favourite. Crime rates reduced dramatically (mostly affecting women and the less affluent citizens of the region) due to the activation of the space.
