Health Infrastructure
The new facility is part of a 3 stage development on the 55,000m2 existing hospital site in Western Sydney. Stage 2 will include a new emergency department, more than 200 overnight beds and more than 12 new operating theatres.
Nepean Hospital Redevelopment aims to deliver Penrith, the Blue Mountains and the surrounding communities with a contemporary, fully integrated public health facility with community-based welfare in mind.
Now, and for the future generations.
SSDA
Initially, I was responsible for the graphics and presentation material for the State Significant Development. I worked with fellow team members, the CBRE project manager and the government planning authority.

DETAIL DEVELOPMENT
Technical skills were required for 2D and 3D modelling and design solutions during the SSDA and design development.
During my role as structural coordinator, I used my prior experience and new learnings to work with structural engineers to work through and resolve structural issues.
STRUCTURE
Liaised directly with engineers and building team to correct & update structural issues that had carried across from Stage 1.
Resolved interface design problems between buildings constructed at different times and in different styles.
